Sandra is a solicitor with over ten year's experience practising  in the area of employment and industrial relations law.   Sandra has a strong interest and significant experience in the area of mediation and took a sabbatical from practice as a solicitor in order to pursue the MA Mediation and Conflict Resolution at UCD from September 2006.  She is a certified Mediation Practitioner with the Mediators Institute of Ireland.  Following completion of the MA in June 2007, Sandra practised for a short time as a Mediator and was internal examiner for mediation in the Law School at the Law Society of Ireland. Sandra returned to practice as a solicitor in February 2009 where she combines her employment law practice with mediation
