Fiona Flood - Head of Inspection Services of NERA NERA aims to secure compliance with employment rights legislation and to foster a culture of employment rights compliance in Ireland. through five main functions Information, Inspection, Enforcement, Prosecution and Protection of Young Persons. Fiona is responsible for Inspection Services activities nationwide, which are delivered from five regional offices (Carlow, Dublin, Sligo, Shannon and Cork) by a team of 69 Inspectors.

Fiona joined NERA upon its establishment in 2007 as Head of Communications and Corporate Services before taking on the role of Head of Inspections this year.

Prior to joining NERA Fiona worked with the Dept of Foreign Affairs working overseas in Chicago, Belfast and Geneva.
