Mary is a Partner in McCann FitzGerald’s Employment Group. She advises on all aspects of employment law with particular experience in advising on the employment, equality and industrial relations law issues arising from mergers and acquisitions, transfers of business, corporate restructurings, cross border mergers, outsourcings and redundancy situations.

A significant area of her practice involves advising many Boards of public and private sector organisations as well as senior executives on all aspects of executive directors including appointment, resignation/removal, executive remuneration, severance and compliance issues under employment, company and contract law.

She advises on all matters arising out of the employer-employee relationship (such as drafting and negotiating contracts of employment, advising on the implementation of appropriate HR and IR policies and procedures, management of ongoing employee issues, advising on termination of employment and restrictive covenants).
