Employment Law Seminars - Speaker

Stephen trained with McCann FitzGerald and qualified as a Solicitor in 2010.  During his training period, Stephen worked in Tax, Aviation and Asset Finance, Commercial Property and Dispute Resolution.  He now practises in the area of employment law, industrial relations and equality law and related issues.  He represents and advises clients in the resolution of employment-related disputes, including before the Employment Appeals Tribunal, the Equality Tribunal, the Labour Court and the High Court, as well as in the context of mediation and other means of alternative dispute resolution. 

In non-contentious matters, Stephen advises clients in corporate transactions, in particular, on the implications of redundancy legislation, collective consultation and the European Communities (Protection of Employees on the Transfer of Undertakings) Regulations 2003.  He assists clients in the drafting of important employment documentation, including executive contracts, company policies and severance agreements.  He also assists clients in conducting disciplinary, grievance and bullying and harassment investigations.
