Biography:

Emmet Barrett has worked in corporate communications consultancy for over 15 years and has particular experience of providing PR support for clients dealing with IR issues. Through the application of effective communications Emmet has helped clients establish support for organisational change programmes, initially resisted by employees.

Through Keating & Associates, Emmet's experience of IR related briefs includes redundancy programmes, work practice change initiatives, plant closures, review of pay and award structures, outsourcing initiatives and sale of businesses. The projects have involved ballots for strike action, LRC concilliation talks, Labour Court meetings and referrals to the National Implementation Body.
