Brid Deering is a Director of PeopleSkills Ltd. She holds a BA and an MA in Occupational Psychology and Human Resource Management (UCC), a Postgraduate Diploma in Employment Law (UCD) and a Certificate in Training and Development (IITD). PeopleSkills Ltd devises and delivers training programmes for all sized organisations primarily in employment law, employee relations and human resources. Many businesses engage the services of Brid to complete HR audits to ensure employment law compliance particularly for NERA inspections and to draft Statements of Terms and Conditions and essential HR policies and procedures.

Before setting up PeopleSkills Ltd in 2005, Brid worked with Wyeth Pharmaceuticals as HR Manager Ireland and the Irish Business and Employers Confederation (IBEC). During her time with IBEC Brid advised employers on all areas of HR, employment law and industrial relations; represented companies at the Employment Appeals Tribunal and the Labour Relations Commission; and worked with trade unions on behalf of employers on various industrial relations issues both at local and third party level. Brid currently lectures on the IBEC Diploma in Employment Law and Diploma in Management programmes and is the Course Leader of IBEC's Diploma in Industrial Relations and IBEC's Certificate in Human Resource Management programmes.
