This case concerns the unilateral wage reduction by the Company. The Claimant had historically received a higher wage than others based on her experience. This agreement was affirmed over a three year period. Subsequently, the Company changed their payment system and her wage was reduced on the basis that the original amount was paid in error. The Court held that based on the facts this was not the case and ordered that the Claimant’s wage be restored to the original rate and arrears be paid.
