These decisions of the Equality Tribunal were reviewed by Bernadette Treanor, Managing Consultant, Beo Solutions, and former Equality Officer at the Equality Tribunal.

The first case, despite not being upheld, is really interesting because it resoundingly finds that where an employee has knowingly and actively behaved illegally in the performance of his/her contract of employment, and is solely or predominately responsible for the illegal acts, the contract will be unenforceable with regard to the Employment
