Our sick leave policy states that payment is not guaranteed and can be removed if policy is not adhered to. Where an employee does not follow the policy, can I stop payment?

The employee should be advised of the manner in which he or she has failed to follow the policy and of the consequent discontinuation of payment of sick pay.
