Highlights this week: We have an update on the Employment (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill 2017 - proposed amendments to which have been causing quite a stir; and still with all things gig economy and employment status related, we have a UK designed but very helpful ‘Self-Employment Matrix’, which could easily be tweaked and applied in this jurisdiction. Also this week, the General Scheme of the Gender Pay Gap Information Bill has been published - another legislative development that will cause quite a stir in employment circles.
