About Catherine-Ellen O'Keeffe
Catherine-Ellen advises clients across a broad spectrum of industries and sizes on employment law matters. Her daily work involves advising and supporting HR managers and in-house management in dealing with issues from challenging interpersonal matters to long-term absences in the workplace and dismissals. Her focus is largely on crisis prevention.
When crisis management is required and a dispute results in proceedings, Catherine-Ellen is experienced in providing strategic advice throughout court proceedings. Catherine-Ellen regularly appears before the Employment Appeals Tribunal, the Labour Relations Commission, the Labour Court, and the Circuit and High Court.
Catherine-Ellen O'Keeffe is a member of Ronan Daly Jermyn's Cyber and Data Protection Group.
Catherine-Ellen has a special interest in equality law which largely stems from her experience prior to going into private practice. Catherine-Ellen has held positions in the Irish Human Rights Commission and the Law Reform Commission. She currently lectures for the Law Society of Ireland on their Certificate in Human Rights Law and Griffith College Cork on their Masters course in Human Rights Law.
Catherine-Ellen has featured on TG4, RTE radio and the Sunday Business Post on legal matters.
