About Ella Nilakanthi Ford
Ella NilaKanthi Ford has worked internationally for twenty years and is very familiar with business development and cultural issues especially in emerging markets, the USA and across Europe. She was a Director of Client Development at Vision Consulting Ltd and the current chairperson of the Ireland India Business Association (IIBA). In the 1990s, Ella NilaKanthi was part of a team that opened up new business opportunities for a range of multinational infrastructure, telecoms and energy companies in, amongst other places, the BRIC countries. Her articles on leadership and business development are published regularly in business publications in South East Asia, Europe and USA. In 2001, she was the City of London chairperson for Women in Business.
She has spoken at many international conferences on a wide range of issues particularly culture and gender in business. A small sample includes GAIL in Delhi, in 2015, where she gave a workshop on Diversity and Leadership in a Changing Culture; at the Asia Economic Forum in 2013, she spoke on the Impact of Policy on Business Investment, and at the Asia Global Summit, 2014, she spoke on Women Leading Business.
