About Síobhra Rush
Síobhra is a Partner in the Employment, Immigration and Reward department in Lewis Silkin and head of its Irish office.
She has over sixteen years’ experience advising both domestic and multi-national employers on both contentious and non-contentious employment law issues including internal grievance and disciplinary procedures, claims for unfair dismissal, discrimination and other employment law claims. She also advises international clients establishing in Ireland – including advising them on contracts of employment, handbooks policies and procedures.
Síobhra has a particular interest in internal commercial re-organisations, transfer of undertakings, employment issues and the employment provisions in commercial transactions. She has also represented clients in all adjudicatory bodies in Ireland including Workplace Relations Commission, the Labour Court, the Circuit and High Courts.
She regularly provides internal training for clients and their management teams and presents and tutors within the Law Society of Ireland. Síobhra regularly writes for and presents at Legal-Island events, she is a member of the Employment Law Association of both the UK and Ireland, and the European Employment Lawyers Association. She is also a member of the Employment Law Committee in the Law Society of Ireland. She is consistently ranked in the Chambers Europe legal directory, where she is described by a client as "responsive, proactive and pragmatic, as well as solution-oriented."
