About Triona Cody
Triona is a Partner and Head of Employment.
Triona is an employment law specialist with more than 10 years’ experience. She specifically advises Corporates, SMEs, Public Bodies, Not for Profit organisations and individual private clients.
Triona advises clients across a range of risk, contentious and policy issues/scenarios, including HR policies, terms of engagement, compensation and benefits, confidentiality, grievance and disciplinary procedures, individual and collective redundancies, the HR implications of mergers and acquisitions (including transfer of undertakings), performance management, termination of employment, workplace investigations, data protection, whistleblowing, unfair dismissals, severance agreements and general employment law matters.
Triona graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) from University College Dublin and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Studies from Dublin Institute of Technology (now Technological University Dublin). She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in Ireland in 2009 and to the Roll of Solicitors in England and Wales in 2010. Triona completed the Diploma in Employment Law with the Law Society of Ireland and the Advanced Diploma in Applied Employment Law with King’s Inns.
Triona is a member of the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association (and sits on their Employment Law Committee), The Law Society of Ireland, The Employment Law Association of Ireland and The European Employment Lawyers Association.
