Susan advises on both contentious and non-contentious employment issues.
Susan’s advisory work includes: individual and collective redundancies and corporate restructurings; employment law issues in commercial transactions, including transfer of undertakings arising from mergers and acquisitions and outsourcing arrangements; harmonising employee benefits and entitlements; a broad spectrum of compliance issues, including drafting employment contracts, grievance and disciplinary procedures, drafting and updating staff handbooks, HR policies and codes of conduct and providing employment law training.
Susan has represented clients in contentious employment disputes, including unfair dismissals, constructive dismissals, discrimination claims, bullying claims, trade disputes and employment injunctions before the High Court and all employment law tribunals. She has significant experience in resolving complex employment disputes, including senior executive terminations, negotiating severance packages and drafting compromise agreements. Susan has also dealt with a wide variety of commercial litigation matters.
