About this course
In partnership with:
In recent years, working patterns have changed significantly in Ireland with the adoption of remote or hybrid working for many employees across different roles, sectors, and organisations. The adoption of these working patterns has created a range of new challenges, and it has become evident that many managers lack the necessary training to effectively tackle these issues.
These challenges include optimising team performance, ensuring fairness and equality, and protecting the health and wellbeing of members of staff, whether they all work remotely, or some are based in the office and are part of a hybrid team. In this new era of hybrid teams and shift in management practices, it is vital a manager also knows how to manage their new workload, reduce pressure, and protect their own health and wellbeing.
With this in mind, we have created a 60-minute eLearning course to provide managers of remote workers in Ireland with the tools to manage and motivate their teams, optimise performance, and achieve organisational goals.
About remote working
A remote worker is anyone who works from home or another place, away from the office. This can be either occasionally, or permanently, full time or part-time.
The Work Life Balance and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2023 gives employees the right to request remote working and this means the trend of remote or hybrid working will continue to grow.
According to CIPD, 12% of Irish companies in 2023 said the majority of their employees were working completely remotely.
