About this course
Social media has rapidly become part of everyday life at home and in the workplace and is now a primary form of communication. Amongst the many benefits of using social media, it provides businesses the opportunity to promote their services and communicate with customers. However, the use of social media can have its downsides and equally provides employees with the opportunity to stumble into a great deal of hot water by sharing and commenting on inappropriate posts and links.
We have created this course to help employees understand how the misuse of social media can impact them and their employers, sharing practical examples and useful tips on how to use social media responsibly.
Social media facilitates the sharing of ideas, thoughts, and information through the building of virtual networks and communities. With the continual advent of new forms of social media, employers need to stay on top of their game to try to prevent misuse of social media by employees. As social media apps continue to be launched, it’s worth rolling out refresher training to ensure your workforce is up to speed with the risks and best practice guidelines.
It’s also important to ensure your company has a robust social media policy in place that sets clear guidelines about employees’ use of social media both inside and outside the workplace. How long does this social media training take?
This online training course will take no longer than 40 minutes to complete including an assessment. Each member of staff will receive their own personalised certificate upon successful completion.
The standard rate of this course is €40 per staff member, however, depending on the number of staff you have, discounts may be available.
