About Adrienne Brock
Adrienne is a Partner in EDG and the Head of the Employment Law Unit. After graduating from Queen's University, Belfast with an LLB (Hons), Adrienne was admitted as a solicitor in Northern Ireland in 1986.
Adrienne provides advice and representation in relation to employment law issues, mainly to employer clients, across a wide range of sectors including private, voluntary public and regulated sectors. This includes, in summary, advising in relation to the management of employment and employment related issues from recruitment/selection/appointment to termination of employment, including contracts of employment, policies and procedures, conduct of grievance, harassment and disciplinary procedures, dismissals and compromise agreements.
Adrienne also represents Respondent clients at hearings before Industrial and Fair Employment Tribunals and at appeals/judicial review applications to the High Court, Court of Appeal and House of Lords. Adrienne also provides employment law training to employers.
Adrienne is a member of the Employment Lawyers Group (NI) and the Employment Lawyers Association (UK).
The 2012 edition of Chambers UK ranked Adrienne as Band 1 for employment law.
