About Ben Burton
Ben joined Drury | Porter Novelli in 2018 a Lead Director, Corporate having led the Corporate, Financial and Public Affairs team at Weber Shandwick in London.
With a background in broadcast journalism, Ben delivers communications and media training for a wide range of clients helping to prepare CEOs, Senior Leadership Teams and spokespeople for proactive announcements and crisis situations. Ben has trained teams and individuals at companies including EY, Microsoft, Nespresso, Boston Scientific Corporation, Novartis, Centrica, Westfield and Motorola.
Ben is a specialist in helping companies increase their reputation capital through proactive storytelling and risk management. In particular he works with brands to develop engaging campaigns which reach key stakeholders and the audiences that matter. Ben has worked with clients including Shell, Mastercard, British Gas, Nomad Foods Europe, Harrods, and SCA.
Prior to joining Weber Shandwick, Ben worked at Edelman in London in the Strategic Media Unit. Before entering the communications sector Ben was a journalist with both the BBC and ITV and spent four years as a political producer and correspondent in Westminster.
