About Billy Byrne
Billy is an executive coach and leadership development specialist at KinchLyons. He is also an associate faculty member at the Irish Management Institute (IMI) in Dublin where he lectures on a range of topics including high-performing teams, organisational development, organisational culture and critical thinking.
He is a guest lecturer at NSPC London where he is module leader on their Masters level coaching programme. He has extensive coaching experience with clients from across a broad range of industries. He has a particular interest in the development of Emotional Intelligence and Authentic Leadership in order to enhance performance within organisations.
Billy is an accredited coach (Senior Practitioner level, European Mentoring and Coaching Council). He has a Masters degree in organisational behaviour and also a Masters degree in Coaching. He is a Chartered Fellow of CIPD. His previous experience includes a mix of technical, line management and senior HR roles. Since joining KinchLyons in 2012 he has worked globally as a coach with individuals and teams across a range of sectors including Food, IT, Financial Services, Construction, Medical Devices, Engineering, Energy and Public Sector. Billy enjoys the variety and challenge of coaching at all organisational levels and currently coaches clients from graduate level up to and including CEO. Billy also sets aside a portion of his practice for pro-bono work, supporting social entrepreneurs and their organisations.
He is a qualified practitioner, facilitator and trainer in a number of Emotional Intelligence Instruments (EQi2.0, EQ360 and MSCEIT), Personality Profiling (Pearman Personality Integrator) and a range of other psychometrics from the MHS suite.
Billy is an enthusiastic distance runner and has completed twenty-five marathons, including all six World Marathon Majors.
