About Kathryn Whyte
Head of People & Culture in the Office of Government Procurement, Kathryn is a graduate of the MBS HR Strategies in DCU in 2009. As an Executive and Leadership Coach, Kathryn is qualified in a range of psychometrics and personality tools. After 14 years in a variety of Business and HR Management roles with Chase Manhattan and J.P.Morgan, Kathryn has spent the last 7 years in two Civil Service organisations. Kathryn is a Conflict Coach and serves as a Mediator on the Civil and Public Service Panel of Mediators.
Kathryn joined the Department of Communications first in a HR change management capacity, before moving into a Lead HR Business Partner position. In her current role, Kathryn leads a team to embed a coaching culture in the organisation through their EMPOWER people strategy. The People & Culture team were thrilled to win the CIPD HR Team of the year award in 2020, an honour which they attribute to the partnership in co-creating the EMPOWER Strategy with their colleagues throughout the organisation.
Kathryn is a Chartered member of the CIPD and holds an Advanced Award in Organisation Design and Development. Kathryn believes that HR can be a real driving force in organisations of the future and recently qualified in AGILE HR.
