About Sandra Masterson Power
Sandra Masterson Power is a partner and Head of the Employment and Benefits team in Beauchamps. Prior to joining Beauchamps in November 2018, she practised in the area of employment law at another leading employment law practice. She took a sabbatical from legal practice in 2012 to pursue a master's degree in human resource management and to establish her own legal and business risk consultancy. Subsequently in 2014, she was appointed Head of Knowledge, Learning and Development at a leading Dublin law firm, before returning to legal practice to join and lead the employment team at Beauchamps.
Sandra is a qualified mediator and holds a MA in Mediation and Conflict Resolution from UCD (2006) and a MSc in Human Resource Management from UCD Smurfit (2014) for which she was received two academic awards – the Richard Maher Memorial prize and the MERC Partners bursary for achieving the highest GPA across two streams.
Sandra provides legal advice and business risk support to key clients, managers, directors, CEOs and Board members within the private sector and public sector on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law and industrial relations law, health and safety law, data protection issues, whistleblowing, protected disclosures, governance and professional regulatory issues. Her legal, HR, mediation and business background and skills give her a unique perspective on people issues within organisations and in particular, the management and resolution of organisational and workplace conflict.
